Xondarias 

Founded in 2016 

Main villages: Tekoa Pyau and Tekoa Ytu 

It's the oldest team. According to the players, it has been around since 2004, when they used to gather women from the "lower" and "upper" villages to play on the old Pyau village pitch, which has now been transformed into a school. 

Symbol: shield with the letters X and G 

 

Guardians  

Founded in 2021 

Main village: Tekoa Pyau 

The Guardiãs is the second-oldest team. It emerged from the union of women who didn't have the opportunity to play due to the large number of players on the only existing team. When the team was first formed, there were only five players; today, there are twenty-three. 

Symbol: shield with five stars 

 

Pindó Mirim 

Founded in 2024 

Main village: Tekoa Pindó Mirim 

The team was initially founded by five women living in the recently developed Pindó Mirim village at the top of Jaraguá Hill.  They won the first tournament they played in on the floodplain of the neighboring Sol Nascente community. 

Symbol: pindó (palm tree) 

 

Família Jaraguá/Pyau 

Founded in 2024 

Main village: Tekoa Pyau 

The Família Jaraguá team, now also known as Família Pyau, emerged as a spin-off from the Guardiãs team. The team practices every Sunday on the floodplain field in the Sol Nascente community and currently has 16 players. 

Symbol: woman with headdress 

 

Itakupe 

Founded in 2024 

Main village: Tekoa Itakupe 

A newly formed team with the same name as its village. They train every weekend on the village pitch, playing with five players on the field and one in the goal. 

Symbol: ambá mirim (Guarani altar)
